BESE means built environment – sustainability – education. Under umbrella of these key-words we propose three parallel summer schools for students who are interested in sustainability in three aspects – urban planning, tourism and nature conservation.

BESE Summer Schools are dedicated for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students of landscape and spatial development who do not study in Poland.

Spatial Planning & Urban Studies – will focus mainly on the built environment of the city of Krakow – however, not only as a place whose historic part has been listed as the UNESCO world heritage site, but also as a space for interesting processes and transformations occurring outside the city center.
APPLICATION

Tourism vs Nature Conservation in National Parks – will focus on the ongoing conflicts between tourism and nature protection in five national parks (four mountain parks and one highland park).
